On the occasion of Teacher's Day (September 5, 2025) , I would like to pay my respect and gratitude to the teachers who have taught me ophthalmology and surgery, and more than that good work ethics and sincerity towards patients. What I learned and imbibed from them are the very foundations of my work life as a doctor and a practitioner of Ophthalmology. While the teacher-student relationship may be undergoing a change with time, we must never underestimate the role that teachers play in shaping our lives and learning that comes with respect.
