हिंदी दिवस (14 सितंबर) पर हिंदी का संदेश: नेत्र चिकित्सकों की कलम से डॉ. सुरेश कुमार पाण्डेय एवं डॉ. विदुषी शर्मा (नेत्र सर्जन, सुवि आई इंस्टीट्यूट, कोटा) मैं हिंदी हूँ... मैं माँ की पहली लोरी हूँ, मैं बच्चे की पहली पुकार हूँ, मैं कबीर की निर्भीक वाणी, मैं दिनकर की हुंकार हूँ। मैं मीरा का निश्छल समर्पण, प्रेमचंद का संसार हूँ, मैं हिंदी हूँ... भारत के मन की धड़कन और संस्कार हूँ। मैं हिंदी हूँ... मैं हिंदी हूँ... मुझे किसी व्याकरण की पुस्तक या शब्दकोश के पन्नों में मत खोजिए। मैं उस माँ की वात्सल्य भरी आवाज़ में मिलूँगी, जो अपने नवजात शिशु को पहली बार प्रेम से पुकारती है। मैं उस पिता की मौन चिंता में हूँ, जो घर से दूर जाते बच्चे से कहता है, “बेटा, अपना ध्यान रखना।” मैं बूढ़ी दादी की कहानियों का जादू, खेत में पसीना बहाते किसान की उम्मीद और उस युवा के आँखों का सपना हूँ, जो गाँव की पगडंडी से निकलकर महानगर के आसमान में उड़ान भरने आता है। मैं मंदिर की पावन प्रार्थना, बाजार की पुकार, विद्यालय की गूँजती कविता, लोकगीतों की मीठी लय और करोड़ों भारतीयों के जीवन का अटूट हिस्सा हूँ। मैं केवल कुछ अक्षरों से बनी एक भाषा भर नहीं; मैं स्मृतियों की पोटली, रिश्तों की गर्माहट, आपके सुख-दुख की साथी और पीढ़ियों को जोड़ने वाला वह पारदर्शी भावनात्मक सेतु हूँ, जिसे कोई मिटा नहीं सकता। मैं हिंदी हूँ...मुझे एक दिन में नहीं गढ़ा गया, सदियों की साहित्यिक साधना ने मुझे सँवारा है। मेरे भीतर संत कबीरदास जी के ‘बीजक’ की वह सच्चाई है, जिसने पाखंडों पर प्रहार किया। मुझमें गोस्वामी तुलसीदास जी के ‘रामचरितमानस’ की भक्ति है, जिसने श्रीराम को जन-जन के आँगन में बैठा दिया। महाकवि सूरदास जी ने ‘सूरसागर’ रचकर मुझमें वात्सल्य फूँका, और श्रद्धेय मीराबाई ने अपनी ‘पदावली’ से प्रेम को अमरत्व दिया। युगप्रवर्तक भारतेंदु हरिश्चंद्र जी ने मुझमें आधुनिक चेतना की ज्योति जलाई, तो राष्ट्रकवि मैथिलीशरण गुप्त जी ने अपनी कालजयी रचना ‘भारत-भारती’ से सोए हुए देश में स्वाभिमान का सिंहनाद किया। मुंशी प्रेमचंद जी ने ‘गोदान’ और ‘मानसरोवर’ के जरिए एक आम आदमी का दर्द मेरी कलम से उकेर कर मुझे हमेशा के लिए जनमानस की भाषा बना दिया। महादेवी वर्मा जी ने ‘यामा’ से मुझे गहरी संवेदना दी, सूर्यकांत त्रिपाठी ‘निराला’ जी ने ‘राम की शक्ति पूजा’ से विद्रोह का साहस भरा। डॉ. हरिवंश राय बच्चन जी ने ‘मधुशाला’ से मुझे जीवन की नई लय दी, और राष्ट्रकवि रामधारी सिंह ‘दिनकर’ जी ने ‘रश्मिरथी’ के जरिए मेरे शब्दों में ऐसी अग्नि भर दी, जो अन्याय के खिलाफ आज भी धधक उठती है। दिनांक 14 सितंबर 1949 मेरी यात्रा का एक ऐतिहासिक पड़ाव बना, जब संविधान सभा ने देवनागरी लिपि में मुझे संघ की राजभाषा के रूप में स्वीकार किया। यह सम्मान अत्यंत गौरवपूर्ण था, परंतु मेरा असली घर किसी सरकारी आदेश में नहीं, बल्कि इस देश की जनता के धड़कते हुए हृदय में है। आज मेरी आपसे केवल एक विनती है। मुझे मंचों से भाषण देकर या फूल-मालाएँ पहनाकर सिर्फ 14 सितंबर को मत याद कीजिए। मुझे आयोजनों से अधिक अपने दैनिक व्यवहार में स्थान दीजिए। मुझे पढ़िए, लिखिए, बोलिए और अगली पीढ़ी के हाथों में अमूल्य धरोहर की तरह सौंप दीजिए। मैं हिंदी हूँ...समय का पहिया घूमा है, और मैं भी बदली हूँ। कभी मैं नीले लिफाफों में रिश्ते जोड़ती थी, आज मैं मोबाइल की स्क्रीन पर पिक्सेल बनकर दौड़ती हूँ। ई-बुक्स, किंडल और कृत्रिम बुद्धिमत्ता (AI) ने मेरे सामने संभावनाओं का नया आकाश खोल दिया है। यह नई तकनीक मेरी प्रतिद्वंद्वी नहीं, मेरी उड़ान का मजबूत पंख है। लेकिन, मुझे एक गहरी चिंता भी है। आज का युवा मुझे बोलता हिंदी में है, सोचता हिंदी में है; Do not search for me in grammar books or within the pages of a dictionary. You will find me in the deeply affectionate voice of a mother calling out to her newborn child for the very first time. I am in the silent worry of a father who gently tells his child leaving home, "Son, take care of yourself." I am the magic of an old grandmother's tales, the hope of a farmer sweating in his fields, and the dream in the eyes of a youth who steps out from a village path to soar into the limitless skies of a metropolis. I am the sacred prayer of a temple, the bustling call of the marketplace, the echoing poetry of a school, the sweet rhythm of folk songs, and an inseparable part of the daily lives of millions of Indians. I am not just a language made of letters; I am a treasury of memories, the warmth of human relationships, a companion in your joys and sorrows, and that transparent emotional bridge connecting generations which no one can ever erase. I was not forged in a single day; centuries of literary penance and dedication have adorned me. Within me lies the unvarnished truth of Saint Kabir's ‘Bijak’ that fearlessly struck at societal hypocrisy. In me flows the profound devotion of Goswami Tulsidas's ‘Ramcharitmanas’ that seated Lord Rama in every ordinary courtyard. The great poet Surdas breathed maternal love into me through ‘Sursagar’, and the revered Meera Bai immortalized love through her ‘Padavali’. The pioneer Bhartendu Harishchandra ignited the flame of modern consciousness within me, while the national poet Maithilisharan Gupta sounded the clarion call of self-respect in a sleeping nation through his timeless masterpiece ‘Bharat-Bharati’. Munshi Premchand etched the pain of the common man through my pen in ‘Godan’ and ‘Mansarovar’, making me the language of the masses forever. Mahadevi Varma gave me profound empathy through ‘Yama’, and Suryakant Tripathi ‘Nirala’ infused me with the courage of rebellion in ‘Ram Ki Shakti Puja’. Dr. Harivansh Rai Bachchan gave me a new rhythm of life with ‘Madhushala’, and the national poet Ramdhari Singh ‘Dinkar’ filled my words with such fire in ‘Rashmirathi’ that it blazes against injustice even today. September 14, 1949, became a historic milestone in my journey when the Constituent Assembly accepted me in the Devanagari script as the official language of the Union. This honor was a matter of great pride, but my true home is not bound in any government order; it lives in the beating hearts of the people of this country. Today, I have only one request for you. Do not remember me only on September 14th by delivering speeches from stages or offering floral garlands. Give me a place in your daily behavior rather than just in formal events. Read me, write me, speak me, and hand me over to the next generation like a priceless heritage. The wheel of time has turned, and I too have changed. Once, I connected relationships hidden in blue envelopes; today, I race as pixels across your mobile screens. E-books, Kindles, and Artificial Intelligence have opened an entirely new sky of possibilities before me. This new technology is not my rival; it is the strong wing of my flight. However, I have one deep worry. Today's youth speaks me in Hindi, thinks in Hindi; but the moment a mobile is in their hands, they hand my language the crutches of Roman letters. The emotions remain mine, but my beautiful Devanagari letters are left behind. I am not angry with Hinglish, but in this blind race to become modern, do not break your bond with my soul—Devanagari. At least once during the day, send a "माँ" (Mother), "प्रेम" (Love), or "धन्यवाद" (Thank You) written in Devanagari. Words written in the script of the mother tongue are not merely read; they land straight into the heart. Today, my greatest hope lies with the new generation—Gen-Z and Gen-Alpha. If I am to reach the hearts of this new generation, they must be given a sense of belonging, not lectures. They need to be told that Hindi can seamlessly become the language of their stand-up comedy, Instagram reels, coding prompts, and startup pitches. For Gen-Alpha, we must create animations and digital stories where their superheroes proudly speak pure Hindi. I want these youths to make me the language of their future. Let them unravel the mysteries of space in me, explain modern medical science, research genetics and robotics, and give commands to Artificial Intelligence in me. The day the youth of India explains these complex subjects to the world in fluent Hindi, my Hindi Diwas will truly become meaningful. I am Hindi... I am not merely letters, I am an emotion, I am the identity of relationships, I am the earthy fragrance of the soil, I am the smile of India. In the new flights of the new century, give me the sky too, In every new journey of technology, give me your trust too. May every language be respected, may every dialect be honored, Rooted to the ground, meeting the world, may my India be like this. Do not remember me only in September, converse with me every day, I am Hindi... may the heart of India thrive in my words. I am Hindi... क से कचौरी… क से कोटा स्टोन… क से कोटा डोरिया… क से कोटा कोचिंग… और क से कोटा का करिश्मा! चंबल के किनारे बसा हमारा कोटा केवल नक्शे पर एक शहर नहीं है। यह स्वाद की पहचान है, कला और परंपरा की पहचान है, उद्योग और परिश्रम की पहचान है और सबसे बढ़कर आज यह लाखों विद्यार्थियों के सपनों की पहचान है। जिस कोटा को कभी कचौरी, कोटा स्टोन और कोटा डोरिया के लिए जाना जाता था, वही कोटा धीरे धीरे देश की शिक्षा नगरी और शिक्षा की काशी बन गया। लेकिन यह करिश्मा एक दिन में नहीं हुआ। इसके पीछे वर्षों की तपस्या है। इसके पीछे अनगिनत शिक्षकों की मेहनत है। इसके पीछे वे रातें हैं, जब एक शिक्षक अपने विद्यार्थियों के परिणाम की चिंता में स्वयं सो नहीं पाया। इसके पीछे वे कक्षाएँ हैं, जहाँ केवल गणित, भौतिकी, रसायन या जीवविज्ञान नहीं पढ़ाया गया, बल्कि बच्चों को गिरकर फिर उठना भी सिखाया गया। कोटा की असली कहानी सिर्फ विशाल कोचिंग इमारतों की कहानी नहीं है। यह उन शिक्षकों की कहानी है, जिन्होंने छोटे छोटे शहरों और गाँवों से आए बच्चों की आँखों में बड़े सपने देखे और फिर धीरे धीरे उन सपनों को अपना स्वयं का सपना बना लिया। किसी विद्यार्थी के लिए शिक्षक ने कठिन सवाल आसान किया। किसी का आत्मविश्वास टूटने पर उसे संभाला। किसी के कम अंक आए तो कहा, “एक परीक्षा तुम्हारा भविष्य तय नहीं करती।” और किसी निराश बच्चे के कंधे पर हाथ रखकर बस इतना कहा, “तुम कर सकते हो… मुझे तुम पर पूरा विश्वास है।” शायद कोटा की सफलता का सबसे बड़ा रहस्य यही एक वाक्य है। शिक्षक दिवस के अवसर पर मुझे सर्वम के जेसी सर, आदरणीय श्री जितेंद्र कुमार चांदवानी जी से मिलने का सुअवसर मिला। उनसे हुई आत्मीय बातचीत ने एक बार फिर यह महसूस कराया कि एक महान शिक्षक की पहचान केवल उसके विद्यार्थियों के अंकों या रैंक से नहीं होती। उसकी वास्तविक पहचान इस बात से होती है कि वह कितने बच्चों के भीतर आत्मविश्वास, अनुशासन, साहस, उम्मीद और आगे बढ़ने का हौसला जगा पाया। इस विशेष अवसर पर जेसी सर ने कोटा में अध्ययन कर रहे सभी विद्यार्थियों को उज्ज्वल भविष्य की हार्दिक शुभकामनाएँ दीं। उनका संदेश था कि अपने लक्ष्य पर विश्वास रखिए, धैर्य मत खोइए, नियमित परिश्रम करते रहिए और कठिन समय में कभी स्वयं को कम मत आँकिए। कोटा की गलियों में आज भी हजारों युवा अपनी आँखों में एक सपना लेकर चलते हैं। किसी की आँखों में डॉक्टर बनने का सपना है… किसी की आँखों में इंजीनियर बनने का सपना है… किसी के माता पिता ने अपनी वर्षों की छोटी छोटी बचत उसके भविष्य पर लगा दी है… कोई पहली बार अपने घर से सैकड़ों किलोमीटर दूर रह रहा है… और कोई हर रात अपने माता पिता से फोन पर बस यही कहता है, “आप चिंता मत करना… मैं पूरी मेहनत कर रहा हूँ।” उस एक वाक्य के पीछे न जाने कितनी उम्मीदें होती हैं, कितनी बेचैन रातें होती हैं, कितनी मेहनत होती है और कितने सपने जुड़े होते हैं। इन लाखों सपनों के पीछे कहीं न कहीं एक शिक्षक खड़ा है। कभी गुरु बनकर। कभी मार्गदर्शक बनकर। कभी मित्र बनकर। और कई बार माता पिता की तरह बच्चे का हाथ पकड़कर। शायद यही एक शिक्षक की सबसे बड़ी शक्ति है। वह केवल पाठ्यक्रम नहीं पढ़ाता, वह उस समय भी बच्चे के भीतर संभावना देखता है, जब बच्चा स्वयं अपने ऊपर विश्वास खोने लगता है। आज शिक्षक दिवस पर मेरा सादर नमन उन सभी गुरुजनों को, जिन्होंने कोटा को केवल कोचिंग का शहर नहीं बनाया, बल्कि उसे आशा, संघर्ष, परिश्रम, विश्वास और सपनों की राजधानी बना दिया। कोटा की पहचान केवल उसकी कचौरी, कोटा स्टोन, कोटा डोरिया या कोचिंग नहीं है। कोटा का सबसे बड़ा करिश्मा उसके शिक्षक हैं। यही शिक्षक कोटा को शिक्षा की काशी बनाते हैं। आज शिक्षक दिवस पर उन सभी गुरुजनों के चरणों में सादर नमन, जिन्होंने न जाने कितने बच्चों के सपनों को अपने ज्ञान, परिश्रम और आशीर्वाद से पंख दिए। सभी शिक्षकगणों को शिक्षक दिवस की अनंत शुभकामनाएँ। Dr. Suresh K. On the occasion of Teachers’ Day, I had the privilege of meeting JC Sir of Sarvam, respected Shri Jitendra Kumar Chandwani Ji. Our warm interaction once again reminded me that the greatness of a teacher cannot be measured merely through marks, ranks or examination results. The true measure of a teacher lies in how much confidence, discipline, courage, hope and resilience he is able to awaken within a young mind. On this special occasion, JC Sir conveyed his heartfelt wishes to all students studying in Kota and wished them a bright and successful future. His message was simple yet deeply meaningful. Believe in your goal. Do not lose patience. Continue working sincerely and consistently. And during difficult moments, never underestimate your own potential. Every day, thousands of young students walk through the streets of Kota carrying extraordinary dreams in their eyes. Someone dreams of becoming a doctor… Someone dreams of becoming an engineer… Some parents have invested years of small savings in the future of their child… Some students are living hundreds of kilometres away from home for the very first time… And somewhere, late at night, a young student tells worried parents over the phone, “Please don’t worry… I am working very hard.” Behind that one sentence are countless hopes, sacrifices, sleepless nights and dreams. And behind many of those dreams stands a teacher quietly. Sometimes as a Guru. Sometimes as a mentor. Sometimes as a friend. And sometimes almost like a parent, holding the student’s hand through one of the most challenging phases of life. Perhaps this is the greatest strength of a teacher. A true teacher does not merely teach a syllabus. A teacher continues to see possibility in a student even when that student begins to lose faith in himself or herself. On Teachers’ Day, I bow with gratitude to every teacher who helped transform Kota from merely a coaching city into a city of aspiration, perseverance, hope and dreams. Taking a trip down memory lane to 1985 takes me right back to the golden days at Govt College, Rampura. We were staying at Nani Choti in Chandrawat Palace, navigating the challenging path of PMT preparation. It was an entirely different era—there were no coaching institutes, no YouTube tutorials, and absolutely no online classes. Our only resources were our textbooks, group discussions, rapid-fire question sessions, and the pure joy of learning together with friends like Dr. Man Singh Chandel and Jai Prakash Singh, whom we all fondly call Gattu Bhaiya. In those defining years, Shri Kamlesh Kumar Singh Chandel was much more than just a senior to me; he was a guiding light who patiently taught me Chemistry, Physics, and Biology. Today, life beautifully came full circle as I had the profound honor of sharing this nostalgia at his retirement ceremony in Bhanpura. After dedicating 38 glorious years to government service and retiring as a revered Pracharya, his journey is truly inspiring.
