Piggyback IOL Implantation to Correct Refractive Surprise of Minus 1 25 ...

Dear All, We are pleased to share with a video-Secondary Piggyback IOL Implantation to correct Refractive Surprise of Minus 1.25 Diopter. How to Calculate the IOL Power for Secondary Piggyback IOL Implantaion? For Myopia of 1.25 D (Refraction), multiply with 1.15 (that come to minus 1.4), so we have implanted minus 1.50 Diopter monofocal IOL. The postoperative vision improved from 6/12 to 6/6 unaided. . LET US MINIMIZE /AVOID USING PLASTIC CUPS & OTHER DISPOSABLES. SAVE OUR HEALTH & OUR ENVIRONMEN

Dear All, LET US MINIMIZE /AVOID USING PLASTIC CUPS &
OTHER DISPOSABLES. SAVE OUR HEALTH & OUR ENVIRONMENT

Plastics
cups and other disposable are very commonly used in India & worldwide. Here
is some statistics- Over 1 trillion plastic bags are used every year worldwide.
About 1 million plastic bags are used every minute. A single plastic bag can
take up to 1,000 years to degrade. Plastic bags are the second-most common type
of ocean refuse, after cigarette butts (2008). Plastic bags remain toxic even
after they break down. Every square mile of ocean has about 46,000 pieces of
plastic floating in it.
Certain chemicals in plastics, like
Bisphenol-A (BPA), is known to disrupt hormones and can mimic the effect of
estrogen in the body, leading to weight gain and hormone imbalance.
What Can We Do? One
big thing we can all do is to reduce the amount of plastic
cups products we are buying and using.
This will reduce our own exposure to plastic pollution, our planet’s plastic
load, and will often save money as well.
