हम सबके पास दिन के वही 24 घंटे हैं, पर हम समय को घड़ी की सुइयों में उलझा देते हैं। कोई मुस्कुराने को वक़्त नहीं निकालता, कोई माँ का हाल पूछने को नहीं रुकता। बच्चा रोज़ दरवाज़े पर पापा की राह देखता है, पर जवाब वही—"बेटा, अभी समय नहीं।" वो दादी की गोद, जिसमें कभी सुकून की नींद मिलती थी, अब सिर्फ़ यादों की तस्वीर बनकर रह गई। जब वो हमें पुकारती थीं, हम कहाँ थे? मीटिंग्स में, स्क्रीन पर, या उस दौड़ में, जहाँ समय हमारा नहीं, सिर्फ़ टारगेट्स का था।
हम सफलता के पीछे भाग रहे हैं, नाम के पीछे, अगले लक्ष्य के पीछे। पर कभी ठहरकर सोचा, जिस दिल की धड़कनें हमें दौड़ने की ताकत देती हैं, उनकी बात सुनने का वक़्त कब निकालेंगे? “जिस दिन आपने समय को घड़ी की सुई नहीं, अपनों की धड़कन समझ लिया, उसी दिन आपने जीना सीख लिया।” ये मेरे शब्द नहीं, ज़िंदगी का वो सबक है, जो हर साँस हमें सिखाती है।
कभी सूरज को डूबते देखो, बिना वजह पार्क में बैठो, बच्चों की हँसी में खो जाओ। उनकी आँखों की चमक पढ़ो, जो तुम्हारे लिए जलती है। ये छोटे-छोटे पल ही ज़िंदगी का असली खजाना हैं। पर हमने ज़िंदगी को काम और व्यस्तता में बाँट दिया। हमने सोचा, समय तो हमेशा रहेगा। लेकिन जब साँसें धीमी पड़ती हैं, जब वक़्त सचमुच फिसलने लगता है, तब समझ आता है—हमने समय नहीं, खुद को खो दिया था।
आज रुक जाओ। माँ के साथ एक कप चाय की चुस्की लो। बच्चों के साथ बेवजह ठहाके लगाओ। दादी की पुरानी कहानियों में डूब जाओ। अपनों को गले लगाकर कह दो कि वो तुम्हारी दुनिया हैं। क्योंकि ये पल, ये लोग, ये धड़कनें—यही तुम्हारी ज़िंदगी हैं। कल शायद सब हो, पर तुम ना हो। समय को अपनों की मुस्कान बनाओ, और आज से जीना शुरू करो। क्योंकि सच्ची ज़िंदगी वो है, जो दिल से दिल तक जाती है।
